I’m Mat, I’m 40 years old and am based in Warwickshire, United Kingdom. I have always had a passion for cars since I was a little boy and got my first pedal car.

In 2016 I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and whilst receiving treatment,  I decided to do something about my passion and visit more events and shows. When an opportunity arose to visit the 70th anniversary celebrations of Ferrari in 2017 just a few miles from where my parents live on a beautiful sunny summers day at Belvoir Castle, it was the perfect chance to act on my new found motivation.

One of my other passions is photography and I ‘stalked’ some of the cars before the event on some of the country roads around the castle before visiting the event. Surrounded by  well over 100 Ferrari’s in total, including the legendary LaFerrari Aperta, I barely managed to contain my excitement whilst snapping away with my camera. At the end of the day I set up camp at a crossroads near the Castle as the convoy of 100+ cars left the event photographing each one as they accelerated flat out right in front of me one by one. With the sound of V12 and V8 Ferrari’s still ringing in my ears I was hooked.

I decided to set up the Instagram account TheSupercarStalker, to share my photo’s with like minded people. I have spent increasing amounts of time working with various dealerships and manufacturers to photograph many Performance and Luxury Cars
